PT. Krakatau Steel

PT Krakatau Steel is a state-owned company engaged in steel production.

The company, which operates in Cilegon, Banten, was originally formed as

a form of implementation of the Trikora Steel Project which was initiated by

President Soekarno in 1960 to have a steel factory capable of supporting

the development of an independent national industry, high added value,

and influential for national economic development.
